A Network of Innovators

On June 13th 2013, the most innovative minds from business, entertainment, science, technology, sport and philanthropy are to join forces at a global social-change conference in London to form an international 999 network that will tackle four of pressing issues for the United Nations.

The DNA Summit is timed to coincide with this year’s G8 Summit, where world leaders are already primed to discuss pressing global issues. Drawing on the dynamism of London, DNA aims to foster effective collaborations through the “Innovation 101”, 101 of the most innovative thinkers in the world.

The Summit will comprise of Four Acts set by various UN agencies, these acts are: Technology, Humanitarian, Business/Finance and Sport. At the conference there will be a series of panels and speeches involving many of the greatest innovators, scientists and philanthropists alive today who will develop the best way to form private/public sector partnerships with the United Nations.

About The DNA Summit (Decide Now Act)

The primary aim of DNA is to bring together some of the most innovative minds in the world to have them co-create for social change. The DNA equation is: Conversation + Collaboration + CHANGE

There have been two DNA gatherings in London over the last year, a Power Breakfast in July 2012 just before the Olympics and in January 2013 a DNA Roundtable with innovators from Silicon Valley and innovators from the UK tech and business scene

DNA is not a talking shop but a results driven gathering, the are four clear challenges being set by key UN agencies: UN ITU, UN OCHA and UNOP (UN Office for Partnerships).
